Developing an empirically-based adaptation and training model for intervention scale up of CPRT
In order to scale up use of CPRT in schools, we propose that teachers need guidance to determine how best to individualize implementation to meet the various needs of their autistic students. Additionally, CPRT training, which has traditionally been only offered locally and in-person, needs to be adapted to be offered effectively through online means. In this newly funded study, we will explore these two factors by conducting a CPRT component analysis that leads to the development of a CPRT decision tree and adapted training materials.
