Trainer
Jennifer Symon, PhD, BCBA-D received her doctorate in Educational Psychology, holds a M.A degree in Special Education, Disabilities and Risk Studies, and a M.A. degree in Child Development. Dr. Symon will serve as a trainer for the TEAMS study in the Los Angeles area. She will be responsible for providing on-going training in CPRT and AIM HI intervention programs. Dr. Symon has prior experience as a Principal Investigator of federally funded grants at California State University, Los Angeles. Those projects included providing specialized training and certification in Autism Spectrum Disorders to general and special educators and related personnel. Dr. Symon has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the delivery of empirically supported interventions, including Pivotal Response training, in classrooms, homes, and community settings and has published her findings in peer reviewed journals.
